NEW YORK STATE: New York regulations require that all equines be covered by official interstate health certificates, issued by a licensed veterinarian, showing that the animals are free from any symptoms of any infectious or communicable disease. The certificate shall include the name of the owner and address, destination in New York, number of horses examined, the name, registration number(s), if any, tattoo, if any, sex, age, rectal temperature, color and markings of each animal listed. Health certificates will become void after 10 days from issue. A 10-day temperature log will be required for all horses. Any horse with a fever during that time period will not be allowed to enter the White Hollow Farm Facility. All horses must show a coggins to be negative to an equine infectious anemia test within the past 12 months and equine Influenza vaccines EHV 1 and EHV 4: within six months (180 days) of each show.
